References and CVs are broken. We combat that with verified employment history stamped by third parties. When crew are checked via a compliance link and placed onboard, or a background check is ordered for placement, we capture vessel, position and start date—only from trusted employer accounts (major management companies, recruitment companies and employers we know and trust). That creates a verified network: every stakeholder sees who verified each placement. Crew can still add their own history; every profile shows which roles are verified, which are self-reported, and who verified them—so career history is trusted at a glance.

When crew are placed, we capture it—only from trusted employers.
Every time a crew member is checked via a compliance link and placed onboard with add to crew, or a background check is ordered for placement, the vessel, position and start date are recorded. We only allow trusted companies in our employer accounts; only they can claim that they placed that crew member on that vessel. That creates a verified network of placements.
Every stakeholder sees who verified each placement.
Recruitment companies, management companies and vessels viewing a crew profile see which roles were verified by which third party—so career history is trusted at a glance.
